Not much here that could kill you unless left unattended and you maybe already had some health issues. Most just make you sick for a few days. I have been bitten by numerous non-poisonous snakes (Black, King, etc) just getting them out of our backyard and releasing them away from neighborhoods. Copperheads are a different story as you can take them off, but they tend to come back to the same area. And with as many kids as we have running around in our area...I just usually get rid of them.

5-6 years ago I am sitting on the couch with the lights super dim watching TV. I live in the "country" somewhat with only one neighbor in sight. On either side of my TV is a big window that faces north.
My GF at the time was in the laundry room and I see this HUGE ball of fire out of the corner of my eye in the window of the left TV moving west to east. I scream HOLY F**K!!!! and my GF leans out as it appears briefly in the window to the right of the TV, but does not make it all the way across before it falls out of view. It seemed huge to me, I saw flames. She did not see it, but was shocked at how freaked out I was - I legit thought a plane crashed and she seemed to not believe me. I went to the 3rd story with bino's looking for a crash site and saw nothing - it was a super dark moonless night too. I even went and got in my car and drove around a bit thinking I would see emergency vehicles but never did. Next day it was on the news - some meteor up north a few states away that caused 10 billion phone calls to the police that night. I don't blame them, I was 100% convinced a plane had just crashed and I witnessed it. Does not help that I live near Whiteman AFB and have B2's and A10's overhead all the time. It was crazy. Edit - I found it - it was April 2010 - so more than 5-6 years ago.......

back in the old country, there is a park with huge mango trees; the mangoes fall randomly, while not 'strange' due to it's frequency, it's been quite funny to see people get nailed by them.

Here's one from today's news:
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ys/2459794001/ Spoiler alert - it was apparently a side airbag inflator cartridge like this one:
