Hi all,

my colleague and myself looking for the Active Autowerke Midpipe
for an M2C.

Does anone know if an delivery to Germany is possible (did not get feedback from AA so far) ? Or knows a dealer who has that in Stock and will deliver that Midpipe to Germany ?

I live in Italy and bought the kit from them.
Unfortunately when you give it all at low revs with a high gear the control unit goes into sleep mode. Just turn the car off and on to make communication disappear and return to full power. Unfortunately upstream of the fap, on the down pipe, are connected two small tubes that feel back pressure created by the fap.
A real billet. The noise is fantastic and the performances improve by 15 CV (see dyno )

Caution . If your M2 C has the latest BMW software update released in March 2019 you can no longer map it via the OBD socket.
I had to bring my Biesse Racing Tuner that manages to map them by connecting directly to the ECU without disassembling the intercooler.

So there is no way to avoid the ECU "limp mode" after installing AA midpipe on a EU (with OPF) M2C, also after remapping it: is this correct ?

If you map the ECU you will have no problem using the autowerke kit. I made a thousand km after mapping and the ecu never entered limp mode. By eliminating the FAPs you can get the same performance on the M2C as on the M3 / M4

Thank you for the clarification: I thought that you had the "limp mode" problem also after the remap. If you don't mind, i'll send you a PM to have more informations where you had the AA midpipe installed.

CA Technologies in the UK are an importer and Roy there was very responsive. Their up charge due to VAT, duties, etc is pretty steep, 1330 GBP.

I run AA midpipe with a BM3 remap and it’s great. CA int are good in my experience

Try Thomas at Automotive Passion in the UK. That's where I bought my AA midpipe from. I had my car remapped by Litchfield to prevent back pressure sensor issue and no problems so far 👍🏻

There is a box of tricks (appologies cann’t recall it’s name) you can wire into the CAN system which eliminates the fault code/limp mode for unmapped cars, theres a thread somewhere on the board
