M2 fuel surge
I'm suffering with bad fuel surge on trackdays mainly at spa in Belgium
After looking around at options, there doesn't appear to be many. Is anyone using the bimmerworld kit ? It puts me of slightly as the pump isn't secured very well, just wondered if Anyone had used it and how they got on ? Regards Scott |

I haven’t tried it yet but have one being delivered soon to go on a car next week. Should be able to start testing fairly soon after that. Going to see how far we can push it with minimum fuel for a time attack.

Just installed it. Heading to the track this weekend.
I don’t think it is too much of an issue the way it is connected to the jet pump line. The pump is pretty small. One side effect is it messes with the fuel gauge. Been testing it active and with fuse pulled to compare. With the pump active the tank reads up to a 1/4 tank lower. Been meaning to talk to the folks at bummerworld about it. Overall the kit is well put together with good instructions. Total time to install was about 3 hours.

Good to hear!. Have you run lower than 1/4 and if so how did that go? Or was 1/4 just where the end of the run fell? Thanks!

Haha, didn't even realize the car was low on fuel until after the out lap. No sign of starvation. Was just about to head out when the fuel reserve warning light came up after starting the car! 😂
