Tire Finding Tool

Hi All

Figured I would share a side project that I've been tinkering with while my car gets some major surgery

tracktire.io

It tracks the stock availability of the typical tires that folks use for track days and/or racing from a variety of vendors. The prices and in-stock-ness are roughly realtime but might lag a few hours.

There is a feedback link on the tool itself but also open to feedback here

Hope it helps someone else!

Great job. Please share on the other chassis track forums.

Cool, I have some feedback and requests :-), if you want to open source it, I can contribute directly.

For each filters change, the page refreshes and takes you back to the top. So you have continue to scroll down, change, back to top, scroll down, change, back to top, and so on.

It would be awesome to add alerts for when prices dip below a certain threshold.

Still a little clean up to do but the intent is to at least open up the Web UI

Good spot! This should be fixed.

I do intend to add price/stock level notifications. I do wonder how often the prices actually change...

The most imminent piece is to extend the model for products to accomadate the OEM specific variants of some tires (e.g. PS4S) to break them out correctly. Also on the list are more detailed stock levels (some vendors disclose actual stock numbers, not just "in stock"), shipping costs and ETAs where available.

If you click on the “4 Filters” text it will expose a full list of filter options.

Further, your filter settings are stored in the URL so if you set it to how you like and then save/bookmark it, you’ll always get the same view. It also makes the view shareable
