Picking it up today. Unfortunately my SA wasn't there yesterday. Hopefully it's remained untouched

Walked into dealership last week of July. Got lucky because they JUST got two allocations for the month. They gave me one for MSRP and I put down $1k. It was wk 37 build.

Build finished week 37 as expected.

Car arrived at dealership yesterday. I should get it today or tomorrow depending on how long it takes them to put the MPE and carbon stuff on.

No, my sales rep said none of it is, which I found out isn't true. I'm thinking maybe they did it to charge me labor. Who knows.

genius line did say that MPE is no longer installed at port because it took too long supposedly

My M2 is at the port and should arrive at my dealer late today or tomorrow. I had MPE installed at the port (which would have been done last week.) But I ordered the MPE port installed when I placed the order back in July.

I saved over $700.00 having my M performance parts port installed versus the dealer.

Just wanted to let others know waiting for their cars. Mines just got on the BISHU highway to Galveston scheduled to arrive November 12th. It was stuck at the port since October 7th.

When I say mine is stuck at the port, I mean that mine is in Galveston at the VPC. It's been loaded on a carrier since Monday but still hasn't left. Galveston is around an hour or so from my dealer.

My SA was finally able to get a hold of someone in Galveston at the VPC. He said they had a problem with the carrier truck my M2 was loaded onto. It is now scheduled to arrive tonight or early in the morning.

Interesting. My dealer offered me MPerformance part installation at least 20%, and up to 40% (depending on the part) off the cost of port installation, labor and parts, and I get to keep the replaced parts.

Seems that dealers have some good leeway as to what they can charge on installs....

Just added Update #8:

10/24/16 - After spending a few days sitting on a carrier in Galveston due to mechanical issues with the truck, my M2 arrives at the dealership! They still need to tint the windows and prep it.

Had a week 42 build and I'm loaded on the Orion Highway as of 10/27/16!!!! Expected to land in Brunswick, GA on 11/9/16. Then it's a bit of a wait for me, PCD scheduled for 12/16/16.

Vehicle was delivered to dealer and picked up yesterday. I updated my timeline for the final time.

Is anyone keeping the spreadsheet up to date anymore? If so, I'll update that as well though it looks like the person who created it originally, deleted it but it can still be recovered.
