Transferring parts from F80 M3 to F87

Hey all! I'm seriously thinking of moving on from my F80 M3 to the F87 platform. I understand that the two cars share several components and wanted to get a better understanding of which parts I can transfer over.

After trying to search the forums I'm unable to find any definitive info if the MPHAS kit I have on my F80 can be transferred to the F87. From what I can glean the KW V3 can be used by the F82/F80/F87 and the MPHAS is based of that design. So is it reasonable to assume the MPHAS kit can fit?

While I'm on the topic I also have a Brembo GT BBK installed on my F80. I wonder if it's possible to transfer it as well.

The HAS will most likely transfer over. The brake kit likely will as well assuming you're going from an F80 with the blue brakes to an 2016-2018 M2.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah my M3 is a 2017 civic version so blue brakes. The M2 I was looking to get is either a 2019 or 2020 M2C. I guess I can't reuse the Brembo's then?

Technically you probably can assuming it's rotors and calipers. Though the M2 competition brakes are quite good, you may not want to. (I'm unsure how they fair against the brakes from your m3)

That's a fair point. The Brembo GT's I have are rotors + calipers. And if I'm not mistaken the stock M2C brakes are very similar to since they're also 6pot 4pot. I track my F80 quite often and looking to do the same with the M2C. I'll probably try to run it stock and see the differences and go from there.

You can put that suspension and brake kit on the M2c just fine.

The MPHAS kit is not based on the KW V3, but on the KW HAS. The MPS for the F87 is however based on the KW V3.
