Love the car! Also put M4C seats in my car this week! Did you wire up the emblems by any chance? How you finding the fabspeed dp? Any chance of getting a video?[IMG][/IMG]
Bought the DP a while back used. I did not wire up the seat badges.

Did some ceramic coating. Now the 2-week wait for mounting, if they don't sell.

Beach trip to see my Dad - he's not in good health. Got slowed in some areas and played with a few cars. [IMG][/IMG]

Trip breakdown.

Cool

Ordered 513M wheels!

Going 18" might ease the issue of bounciness; making me seasick

I've considered these wheels. What's the cost?

FYI, the Edelweiss LT5 wheels look very similar and are super light even in 19".

Yeah, complete copy-cats. Which is great, always wanted the 513M in 19"! I think it's too bad that they didn't make them in 9.5 & 10.5 though.

I really wish we could do 513s on the M2C. Love those wheels.

Nothing I did made it prettier -- 200-ish kilometers at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on the Grand Prix track (Mosport, for those of a certain age).

I managed to hit 215 kph at the end of the straight (according to my passenger, looking at the gauge cluster). Well into sixth, and deep into the rev range. I could have stayed in it longer, that will be a goal for next time.

If you get the exit out of 5C just right, you'll be able to use more throttle earlier through 6 and probably reach 225 at the top of the hill.

215kph in 6th gear? Must be DCT?

I know on a manual thats still 5th gear with some room to go before the shift into 6th.

It's a manual. The boost tapered off in fifth, and I found it faster to shift into sixth.

Note, though, that's entirely seat of the pants -- I wasn't collecting any data. And I have no idea how accurate the instrument is at that speed.

I can certainly see how that would be the case. I started to moderate the throttle instead of keeping it wide open -- I've got lots of track experience but not much at that speed. I certainly could brake much later, too.

I've already ordered my bigger balls for next time
