Best bmw or car related apps (android)

Hey everyone,

Just curious what apps you guys use that are bmw related or car related that you guys think is awesome and essential. The app would also have to be found on the Google play store too.

I personally already use:
1) Bimmercode
2) Bimmerlink

What are the other choices?

Carly? I have an adapter but never subscribed. It is still a pay to play, year to year, or something like that?

I suppose there is a matrix or spreadsheet somewhere comparing functionality across these choices.

This is amusing. Carly.

Code:
Alarm type
• Europe
• USA
• UK
Type and sound of the alarm. United Kingdom is the same sound as Europe, the duration of the alarm is eight times longer. (codable in FZD)
I am using both Bimmerlink and Bimmercode. The same option might be present in Bimmerlink?

Eight times longer. Oh joy ;-)

Carly is really good for clearing out shadow errorcodes. Since I was an early adopter they comped me a lifetime membership but I think they may be pay to play now.

Torque Pro is a good one.

Personally I will never pay for Carly, I don't like their pay to play philosophy, I don't like that you also must buy their adapter, etc. I have the bimmer link and bimmercode combo (both unlimited uses for as many cars as you want and its life time) which I believe is far superior to carly and it was cheaper too. Then I have esys and ISTA for everything else which is honestly the most superior option out there. It's just like the thor flasher thing, I believe they're out of business now, but imo the reason why is likely they were over charging for what essentially was coding in EPS, DSC, and GHAS settings which is pretty much free if you have esys.

I have torque pro already and its a pretty decent app.

Thanks for your input!

Good stuff!

I have harry's laptimer though, which imo is a better data analytics app. But still bmw's oe app is nice too.

Thanks for the comment.

The My BMW app (previously called the BMW Connected app)....

...essential if you need to check how much fuel the M2C has left before needing to get somewhere quickly or taking one of the other cars.

I guess seeing if the car is locked and being able to lock/unlock the doors is useful too.

Thanks for your response.

I have bimmercode, and I have torque pro too. However I find MHD to be much better at gauge support than torque pro because it has more access to gauges torque doesn't have as well as sampling rate is significantly higher. Datalogging is better too.
