I don't mind sharing. I got two quotes, one for 1695 and one for 1800. This is the complete front of the car up to the A pillars and the mirrors. I imagine prices will vary depending on location.. I got a list of installers off the xpel website and called a few then cross checked with Yelp before deciding.

Does that include the whole hood or partial? Also front fenders??

If I recall your car is LBB, I am curious to hear if the Expel blends well with the paint or if it shows a difference. Some colors make it obvious I am hoping LBB doesn't.

Its the whole thing up to front doors they wrap the edges so no seams. I can always notice the seams so worth it to me doing full panels.

Is there a good film for the windshield to prevent chips? My current 2er seems to be a magnet for road debris. of course it also doesn't rain here so there's a decent amount flying around freeways.

I've been using it too now for years and others at my track sessions are now picking up on it. Price is right and I've never had an issue with it. Comes right off and leaves no residue. It's great for a weekend at the track. Rain or shine. After that I take it off. It may be good for something temporary if you don't want to go bare.

BTW, this worked great for me today. I would recommend this if you need something for protection. I'm not sure how well it would hold up on extremely long trips, but I did 40 miles and it held up extremely well.

I'm looking at putting this down with a coat of road warrior over it for my 3hr trip home. How easy was it to apply to areas like the fangs? Did you take a razor blade to it? Any photos from the application?

I just used scissors and cut large pieces and the cut holes for the contours of the fangs, lights etc. nothing perfect, but it did the job. Also don't forget to cover the rockers so your tires don't kick up stones and chip the paint. I ended up getting Xpel scraps for the rockers from the guy doing my install two days prior to my delivery...I have a few pics...

Can dealerships order the template or how does it work? Or could I buy it and have them install it? Or would you recommend a custom job. Thanks

Self healing just like Ultimate, but a matte "frozen" finish. And you can change your mind when its gets old, but, it's the whole car so it's not cheap.

It's a full wrap that gives the matte look. It's pretty amazing but you have to be willling to pay around $4-5K if I'm not wrong.
