What's the idea behind the M2's logo thingy where the side vent is supposed to go?

If I'm comparing from the outside, definitely the M4.

If I'm comparing from the inside, definitely the M2.

Aaah, here we go:

Wow. M3 looks so much more mature, poised, confident, but most importantly understated. Like it's got nothing to prove! The lineage and pedigree speaks for itself. I like it!

(Some of you are too young to know what those are lol). Just for mention, the M6 is great too, but just too damn long. The spirit of an M vehicle, again IMO, has 2 doors. So that cuts out the M3/M5. Not to say they're not relevant for those wanting to transport their families whiles doing 120 on the interstate (lol).
All in all, the M4 is the one! It's the mistress! It's the beer at the end of a long day! It's mature enough to get into any 21 and over spot, while still young enough to see you on the track!!! This comparison really shows its beauty! When you guys are done being hype beasts about the newest M vehicle, and all the dust settles, you'll realize how much sexier she is. Salute to you: M4
u talk about "mature" and "some of you are too young" but yet your username is "professor_yo"???? haha

yo - I'll take the M2 :

I like the fat ass of the M2 better, but I like the fastback rear lines of the M4 better. Can I have both cars please? I'll let you know my favorite after a couple hundred thousand miles

I respect your choice, would you respect mine?

I can not stand the two horizontal lines right ont top of each other at the bottom of the rear of the M3/4. Hated it from day one. While the M2 rear could be better, it definitely wins over the M4. But that's just me.

M4 looks more streamlined and lower. M2 is a bit more aggressive side profile

Would be nice to see 1M m2 m4 and m6 in a row

M4 is HUGE! Proportions are perfect? Yes but the overall size is way too big.

M2 is the best of both worlds. Ever wonder what a stripped e46 could do on a track with e92 power?

Here you have it.

I'm an M3 owner and I prefer the "smaller" size M2. that's why I'm getting an M2 next. it's all about personal preferences and there's no right or wrong. just get what excites u and fuck what anyone says or thinks

Agree with the exception that the M4 is now too large. The e46 was the perfect size and the M2 is about that. But other than that the M4 wins every category and the fact that the M2 is only marginally lighter, really kills the deal for me unless they come out with a lighter version.

Yep, I keep coming back to the Cayman for a second car also. Currently I have a low mileage e46 M3 that I will replace some day. Once the novelty of the M2 wears off, I think I will lean towards a Cayman S. It's ~400 lbs lighter than the M2, which seems like a lot.

"This car looks like that car" is a ridiculous comparison in any regard. Yes, they have rear lights, a trunk, headlights, 4 wheels and reflectors.

Yes, you are incredibly wrong.
