I don't think it was left there on purpose, it was actually a little bit hidden compared to some of the other interesting cars in the lot.

It remained there because it was a weekend, I doubt it's still there now.

In my opinion, in shade or unnatural lighting it has a blue that's lighter than estoril - a bit less opaque I guess. Then in sunlight it can transition to turquoise. I guess I don't like either of these. The only redeeming part about this paint is its highly reflective and metallic sheen. Some metallic paints have a nice property about them that inspire thoughts of robots and high tech machinery.

Actually, if you look closely at official BMW pictures of the i8 and the M2, you can see that the blue, is pretty similar. I wouldn't be surprised if it is actually the same.

It's not as green as LBB. I saw both because the i8 was parked 2 spots away from the M2 . I don't think BMW would use Protonic Blue on anything but the i cars right now anyway. Having seen a full blue i8, I like it more than LBB.

This poor M2 has been abused!

Every member is posting a pic and the car is just sitting there sighing

But,
Thanks for the pics, it really shows the difference between Estroil and Long Beach.

In the previous pics, Long Beach looks closer to Estroil and the Focus RS, Ford GT concept blues.

Still don't like it. Especially compared to EB. Way to teal. I will still be going with MG!

For the love of sweet baby jesus, you guys need to calm down and stop posting EVERY single variation of teal possible. It looks NOTHING like that IRL.

don't think it's a blue obsession but because of the limited color options

MG is all business. No question about it. None of this color variation crap, no back and forth about liking it in some light but not others or depending on if the sun is out that day. Just a clean and serious. Making a nice case for itself.

I have a different opinion. If MG would have looked like the PS it would have been awesome. But unfortunately MG is not just a greyscale but has purple tint/highlight that ruins it in my opinion.

Honestly, all these PS images look too synthetic and altered to be taken seriously. I've seen other real life pictures of MG that make me think it's the better choice here. Of course, my mind changes almost daily.

Same here, luckily I already ordered so I have no other choice than to accept my chosen color.
I wish Donington Grey would have been available though.

In some of the pictures on this board LBB looks very similar to EBII, in person it is much tealer, as you can see in the pictures below compared to my car.

The temperature of these images look a little warm to me (the asphalt in the images look brown), probably as a result of the camera trying to compensate for how dominant EBII comes across in the shot. I was a little shocked at how green LBB looks in these photos. I shifted the temperature range slightly cooler in Photoshop and have attached the result.

LBB still looks decidedly teal in comparison to EBII in these photos, but not nearly as green to me.

i think ive finally decided that im going to go with black, i really like grey but my last car was grey and it was a bit lighter than the MG and imo was better so i really cant justify going with another shade of grey that i feel is inferior to my previous grey, for all those going with LBB, judging from all the pics ive seen i really think the color will look amazing at night time in person
