Has anyone do a similar comparison with the f30/f80?

Yes.

Quite likely the inspiration for this thread. And that's perfectly fine as far as I'm concerned - great call by the OP to apply the idea to another new M vehicle.

Hopefully just speculation at this point. It would be more likely that we get few allocations so that late orders will be pushed into June rather than all orders will be pushed back.

Nice, thank you. Really highlights how different the M2 looks. The F80 18" wheels look pretty good as well. I'm surprised they are not the base wheels on the M2.

You are not, I think the m3 mirrors look wack on the m2. Much better with the standard wing mirrors

The M2 looks too fat in my opinion. Have to reserve judgement until I see one in flesh.

I wonder if the "take" rate on those 18s is so low that they decided not to bother? That and the 1M only had one wheel choice as well...

True. Just seems slightly odd that the more expensive "big brother" has the 19s as an extra-cost option.

True dat - but BMW could also factor the cost of the wheel upgrade into the MSRP - which, I still don't believe will be 51K.

Don't confuse "fat" with "cool curved".

Wish the silver 437M wheels were an option for the M2...

Not a fan of the black/brushed trend on wheels currently.
