Constantly seeing the color more and more, and its starting to look more and more "Estoril-ish". Need to see it in real life on the car. But i will say the more i see the body, the more i want to see it in black. Even though i need to get away from Black, but its so hard not to love it...

Believe me when I tell you that LBB is nowhere near "Estoril-ish", it just looks that way in most pictures due to the color reproduction limitations on most cell phones. Even my iPhone 6+ makes it look blue in pics.

In real life it's straight out teal. No matter what anybody else says it is T E A L.

It looks great but the M3 and M4 look much better. The M3 and M4 and low and wide. The 1 and 2 series are tall and narrow. That's one of the biggest gripes about my car. Low and wide always looks better over compact and tall.

in the NY/NJ area there's got to be an X6M or X5M in this color at a dealer or Cars and Coffee near you... ?
Otherwise... if you know your BMW colors... Long Beach Blue is to Laguna Seca Blue as Valencia Orange is to Sahara Orange..
In other words... a three stage metallic version of the former color.

As far as the color... go to the dark side... ALWAYS BET ON BLACK!

You're 100% right, Ive seen it in person on the X6M, First time i saw it was at HQ for training actually, and i fell in love with it. Ive seen it multiple times after that, and its grown on me, but Yeah, you're right, all the phone pics don't help lol.

Just when I thought I was convinced Id go through with the purchase... ugh. I cant argue that the 235 in this thread doesnt look better. I dont care about mirrors, but those bumpers and the bubbliness versus it actually being flared just irks me.

Still waiting to evaluate it in person, but this thread didnt help.

This statement is accurate, its very TEAL in person. Too bad because I was hoping to go individual with the 2 and get a blue (LSB or Santorini).

ok really... ? LOL. then you should have never used the word Estoril. The photos under the light at the plant perhaps make the color look lighter but no one would ever mistake it for Estoril. It's as far from Estoril as Yas Marina. The single word TEAL really is correct.

Yeah, again, i meant it in reference to the pictures.
Have had multiple black cars, so tired of upkeep but can't get away from their true beauty. Especially a metallic black saph, such a gorgeous color, just may have to do it again.

Don't throw in the towel yet! Have you ever seen a dropped M4 in the metal? It's almost a different animal. The drop has a transformative visual effect even on that car's soft, bloated lines...

Now imagine a beautiful, clean Alpine White M2...light window tint...nicely dropped on it's black wheels...perfectly filling out the fenders with a set of 10mm spacers

Guys, this car is hot. I like the M235, but no way I would ever take a M235 over this. And by the way, I'm really liking this over a M4. I'm one of those people who like the M3/M4 but can't stand how big the car has gotten. The M2 is the right size. In fact, it seems to the be same size as my E46 M3 - which I think is just right.

And I heard the exhaust as the car went by me, it sounded awesome. I'm feeling the same way about this car as I did when I first saw the E92 M3 and the E46 M3. Its a good thing.

car looks aggressive from the front end especially if this car is lowered a bit.
however, i cant get over the rear end, just doesnt look right.
also, whats up with the Matte carbon fiber interior trim? makes it look like a cheap CF wrap.
cant wait to test drive this vehicle and see how it compares to my f82.

you are comparing a cell phone, unedited picture of a stock M2 versus a full photoshoot, edited picture of a modified M235i.

a lot of cars can look better than better model when tastefully modified as in your example.

I love the car. I will take one in MT. I think the size is perfect for a proper M car, or for a BMW sports coupe for that matter.

Only thing I hate is the color. I may be the only one but I just hate this teal/blue/green/metallic color from the 70's. They should've gave it the TechnoViolet or EstorilBlue, or a clean Mineral White.

Great shot! Thank you for posting. Notice the Porsche 2 lengths back...so small. People have said the M2 doesn't have "presence" but I have not heard anyone say that about the small Porsches...
