Picked mine up last Saturday. Been raining since, so is waiting in my garage for PPF application on Monday.

I went with carbon fiber kidney/side grilles and the stainless pedals from the port and added the M performance mats. Intend to add more carbon inside and out afterwards.

I still really like the blue. I wasn't a big enough fan to order it that way, but I think it looks great in most of the pics and videos I see. Everyone should take a turn with a bright color car. Had I not just jumped out of a blue car a may have picked it.

All the color combos I've seen have looked really good. I was originally a HS/gold fan, but lost my nerve. It looks fantastic. While I wish there had been a couple more wild colors to choose from the limited color pallet has left good looking combos.

Blue is my favorite color, but would have grabbed the Sunset Orange in a heartbeat.

Sort of cool, if so.
Ordered white because I have four other white cars.
Gold wheels because it's a CS thing.
Carbon brakes because CS only.
DCT because I don't really like the BMW manual that much, have other sticks anyways for those times.

I'm curious about your field of work (Higgs Boson).

Thanks for sharing! I'm even happier I opted for the CF kidney grilles and side markers now.

Great to see the blue-gold-red in the U.S., Chris (my spec too) - looks fantastic! Your custom touches look great on it. Congrats.

Very nice! I'm also getting Misano Blue and was undecided on adding the carbon kidney and side grilles. This looks great and think I will go for it.

What did they cost? When port-installed, they add the line item to the window sticker? Thanks!

This is the cheapest place I could find and where I ended up purchasing mine from. I paid about $700 (price includes shipping, no sales tax).
When port-installed, they'll like charge you $820 (MSRP)(plus sales tax).
This install literally only takes about 15 minutes or so. In my opinion, better to just purchase it on your own and install it yourself or have a shop do it for you. It's going to be slightly cheaper, and you even get to keep the black stock one too in case you ever want to go back to that. You can even re-coup some of your money in the event you put the stock one back one and sell the CF one.
