TYSPEED + APEX FORGED

The Tyspeed team has been running our 18” FL-5 flow formed wheels on their BMW M2 race car for a few seasons now. After claiming the title of BMW CCA Club Racing’s North Atlantic 2018 Regional Champion (B Modified), along with participating in numerous Time Attack events in preparation for the biggest event of Tyler’s career, the 2019 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, I think it is safe to say that our wheels have been put to the test.

Tyler and his team are always chasing the bleeding edge of performance, and APEX has been right by their side with an identical goal in mind. Armed with our new forged wheel line up, APEX is proud to support their efforts to get to the next level of performance. Tyspeed is first to receive a set of our all-new polished 18” ARC-8R forged wheels, in a wide 18×10.5” ET40 rotatable square configuration.

These forged wheels clear the massive Stoptech 6 piston 380mm brakes mounted on the M2 race car with ease, and with an impressive 1,800 lbs load rating, they will provide more than enough strength and durability to keep up with the crueling demands set forth by Tyler and his team.
