Last week as Irma continued to come closer to Florida, I decided to grab the essentials and head to Georgia to stay with family. Seems the neighbors have the right idea.



Here is a shot from the family cabin in the Hiawassee mountains.



While already so far north, I decided it would be crazy not to head over to the tail of the dragon. On the way, I found this beauty at a gas station.



Stopped at quite a few scenic stops to look out over the mountains and take pictures of the car.













Turning around to make multiple runs and let my father have a go, I have photos on order from the camera guys along the route. I'll add them when they arrive.

Home is calling me back,



Overall what an amazing trip this was. My residence survived the storm perfectly fine. The e46 was garaged since the m2 was out playing and suffered no damage. Life resumes as usual.

Good excuse for a road trip....good from bad, right? Don't mind looking at the photos twice, I really like the AW with the Motorsport stripes. Breaks up the canvas. After seeing it in person once I loved it. I also like Austin Yellow so maybe I'm in the minority. Enjoy....
