If you converse 4990 Euro( without taxes) to Canadian Dollar are 7249$!!
$4,900 CDN without tax.

And yes, that may seem like much, but it's a LOT more exhaust than just the MPerf, which is a glorified set of tips really.
For MY2017
In canada its 3500$

...and now we wait two more months.

First I waited 2 years for the car, then 11 weeks for the wheels and now 8 more weeks for the exhaust. What is it with M2's and waiting?

The M Performance exhaust option for the BMW M2 is not produced by Akrapovič.
This Akrapovič Evolution Line system is different than the M Performance exhaust option provided by BMW for the M2.

Yeah, anyone that isn't blind can see that one is made by someone that cares about how it looks and one is made to be hidden under a car.

This makes no sense. The function of the MPE is to improve sound, not to look cute.

It does its job quite well.

It makes perfect sense when my point was that no one can think Akrapovic has anything to do with the MPE as it looks like crap compared to the craftsmanship of their own products.

Imho the MPE did not look like crap when it was in the box and now it's under the car it sounds excellent and the ti tips look great.

I paid less than half the Akra price and BMW official warranty. And the funniest part: the Akra doesn't sound better when flaps closed (kmho worse) vs MPE the same and with flaps open I think MPE sounds also better.

But hey who am I to decide for somebody else who wants to pay >double the price for something sounding less nice open and closed than BMWs own MPE?

So cheers
Robin

It's quite obvious that the MPE is the smarter choice, I was just referring to the craftsmanship that is miles ahead on the Akrapovic - which in return is proof once again that Akrapovic has NOTHING to do with it. The MPE doesn't win any beauty contests but that is not what you pay for either (and not my point).

slightly offf topic...But Ive went this route with all my F/I Cars...

Triple the HP gains in combo with catlss DP and $200+ installed...And the ability to go completely silent with the flip of a switch...

The Akra exhaust does look cool and well engineered, but Ill spend my 2 grand + on turbos LOL. Maybe Fabsped muffler delete or even a set of c/f tips...

This comes with a king ring controller also, im wiring it to a blue light up toggle switch to "arm it" and at 50% throttle it is will open the valve due to a WOT switch from NX Express I had on a NOS kit...
