Just swapped in the new switch panel, which I ordered from ECS Tuning.

So so so nice to be able to sit in my parking slot and let my car warm up without getting beeped to death.

Thanks to everyone who provided information and inspiration regarding this mod.

Definitely recommend removing the shifter surround first and push in the two tap from underneath. For the rocker switch, I find it easier to pull up from the lower right or left corner. The rocker switch is held in from the center, there's actually a half circle indicator where the catch is located (one on each side).

Very happy with the install, now I'm able to stop the beep.

For right hand drive, Order part number : 9252921 and for LHD 9252912.

Pull out the old one, plug in the new one, swap the switch - very easy, just unclip the top cover 3 clips either side then lift off. Pop out the rocker switch and push in the original rocker switch with comfort/sport, put the new top cover back on and push in the unit, job done.

And for the observant, I hadn't fully pushed it home to finish the job but it fits like a glove.
Just installed mine. I would personally give you 50 reputation points for this one if I could. This was the biggest issue on this car for me.

Like the OP and others the reverse beeps staying on after you take it out of reverse gear was probably the most annoying feature of this car! Thank you to the OP for making me aware of the OEM fix!!

Thank you DivideBYZero for supplying the part, I fitted mine yesterday and it was super easy and only took 10 minutes to do.

Glad it worked out well.

Do you have an Aaron? If so where did you get it from?

I do, ordered it from Awron direct in Germany. At the current exchange rate you'd be better just getting it from Imran@Evolve (http://www.evolveautomotive.com/make...-interior.html) - assuming you don't have Euro account. The install is pretty straight forwards and a very thorough guide is available from Awron's website & can be self installed in less than an hour.

Does it not seem like there is a 4th button, above the P off button?

Anyone know what it does

I think it's a camera symbol button as seen on the 3/4 series.

I assumed this would be a shortcut to the reverse camera, but it links to the "top/side" camera view. We don't have that feature on our cars.
