Nope, just one quick press and it does it. It is so strange. I can't figure out what I changed with the app. I contacted Stephan so hopefully he can figure it out.

You must code the opening sequence to have a 2 sec delay in order for the windows not to crack open! If its set up as right away, once you press the open key in the fob, the windows will crack open too!!

Update: Been trying out a test build for Stephen the last few weeks and confirm a lot of more good stuff is on the way. Including: Idrive 6 Lite UI, Screen Mirroring (for android devices), and Video in Motion (up to 39MPH for ID5). All working for MY2017s with ID5. Should be coming out soon for release!

Change the "Warning Sounds" to "BMW i" It is much softer and not as harsh. It is much better till he can figure out how to code it out all together.

I usually don't mind them, but BMW's are extra obnoxious and they don't stop beeping when you stop the car and pull up the parking brake. Mine even continue beeping when I am out of the car and leave it running haha.

The problem is the seats are too damn sensitive. A gallon of milk sitting on the passenger seat will activate the seatbelt warning. Is that sensitivity codable? It wouldn't bother me to leave the seatbelt chime on if it would only go off with a resonable weight on the seat.

I tried it out successfully today. Pretty straight forward. A few observations: the presets only get wiped if you code the head unit module. ECU doesn't reboot when coding the head unit module but it does reboot when coding the FEM module. After the reboot, the car's screen and dash show some scary messages which go away. I suspect this is just the normal reboot process but it was a little scary. You also have to code one module at a time which I didn't realize at first.
I successfully omitted the side markers, headlight washers & startup warning confirmation screen. I added mirror folding on lock with no delay, reduced unfolding of mirrors speed to 5km, changed warning tones to iBMW and added unlock when turning off car via expert mode and increased angel eyes brightness. Not too shabby. Can't wait to experience the changes tomorrow on my way to work! |

Would love if we could code CarPlay from the app.
