I'm trying Publix delivery today. They probably had 1/3 - 1/2 of the items I wanted available to order and the shopper has already texted me to let me know 2 of the items I ordered are not available. But that's ok. There's enough coming to avoid a trip out for a while, which is all I really cared about.

If anyone can find Kirkland Signature Flushable wipes I will pay you handsomely to ship a case(s) to me. And no, I'm not a Nigerian prince.

We have been living off amazon, walmart, whole food and even western beef deliveries for the past 3 weeks. Haven't left the house at all other than to put gas one day (in case that becomes a thing like with hurricanes) and to walk around the neighborhood just to get some exercise. Even managed to get tp. And have some paper towels coming today.

Pretty much the same here, although I did go to Publix last weekend and a few times the week before that. Whole Foods delivery had almost nothing I wanted when I looked this morning so decided to try Publix delivery. Trying to avoid going out at all except for walks around the neighborhood. We are also well stocked other than just trying to restock what we use weekly.

We've done a couple of food runs over the past two weeks. Next time we need to buy two of things we usually only buy one of. We did take-out from an Italian place once and from a burger joint twice. Both times were were careful with the packaging, although we've had just one reported case in this area so far. We've been walking a mile loop twice a day. Usually at lunch and after dinner.

I try to get some rides on on my trainer, but most times I get an email or call from work and run out of time for the trainer. Tonight I was going to hit the trainer, but I ended up helping Wifey with figuring out how to embed new educational videos from a website into our school's LMS. Then I wrote up a how-to for her to post. There went my riding time.

Now I just read that central IL is in the danger zone for tornadoes tomorrow. Just what we need.

InstaCart shopper texted me from Publix to tell me they had multiple brands of paper towels in stock today. We are well stocked on those so told her not to get any but haven’t seen them at Publix for at least a couple of weeks.

I went out this morning. Store had basically everything and they are putting limits on certain products.

Only thing I couldn't find is the organic chicken I usually get. But I suspect that is more of the meat department not putting their stock out yet as I was there when they opened.

For the most part, I haven't had any issues. There was once where all meats were gone but I've been able to find something ever since then. Even when all the pork, chicken, turkey, etc...was gone from CostCo, they had plenty of skirt steak (which I love).

Haven't had an issue finding TP either. I always have it (& paper towels) stocked at home so time is on my side. CostCo...forget about it...always out. My usual grocery store, while large but a lesser known name....never an issue.

Likewise, people have been saying pasta is impossible to get around me. Went to a nearby popular store and the shelves were picked almost clean save a few busted up boxes.......except for the whole grain or chickpea-based stuff which was mostly untouched by the masses. That's what I usually get anyways so....yeah. lol

I still laugh to myself when I see people stocking/hoarding up on perishable goods like pre-washed/bagged salad. Kudos for (maybe) wanting to eat right but that stuff won't last. Most free form produce is still readily available.

Conclusion: I don't eat normally compared to my peers.

Our costco had plenty of toilet paper - even doing end caps on random aisles so you don’t have to cram into the back of the warehouse to get it. Still no wipes, gloves and disinfectants.

Asian market restocked with rice and instant noodles.

I mean it's just ridiculous honestly. Did no one clean their house before? I was never a big Lysol person unless one of us was sick in the house. But damn, I will never run out again. It never occurred to me to hoard like people have done.

They had that at the store when I went. We've been using it to spray down packages that arrive. It was limited to a Qty of 2.

So most of this stuff I grabbed two of...1 for my daughter and 1 for us. Living in the next county over, she had been having problems finding things.

So yesterday I was able to get her some TP, Lysol Spray, and Clorox Wipes!

I’ve been thinking of doing the same. How long do you let the boxes sit before opening / after spraying? We got lucky with Lysol spray as we bought a 4 pack of large cans at Costco when they were sale at some point, so we have a lot of it. Gotta be careful with spraying it though, as I understanding it is harmful to dogs and probably other pets.

The drivers have been great with social distancing. They set the package on our front porch, we spray them down, then let them sit for 30 minutes or so.

Then we bring them in a few at a time, pull out the contents, break down the boxes, and put them back outside in our cardboard bin.

Afterwards we clean anything it came in contact with with the Clorox solution, and then wash our hands.

I was on Amazon & Wal Mart grocery last night & looks like still no TP & such.

I will probably run out of booze before 4/30 so looks like I will support local business & buy some wine for delivery from the local wineries that I've been to

With my packages that have been delivered I have been bringing them in as usual & taking the items out & immediately washing my hands before I touch anything else...then open the garage door & put the box in my trash can & wash hands again before touching anything.

That's pretty much what I've been doing, but have been thinking about spraying down with Lysol since we have plenty.
