Perhaps it should given it costs 2 x GFB DV+.

At present, I have no reason nor seen any hard facts to warrant the time to switch from GFB DV+ to TS PnP.

I only see one person who said it improved response over the DV+ in that thread. Though I'm unclear how that's possible.

Two guys said their GV+ was leaking. One later replied saying it could be an installation error, not putting oil on the seal before installation. He swapped to the TS Dual Port and FTP Inlet Pipe and provided before/after logs. Boost looks exactly the same between logs. I wonder if his DV was ever leaking in the first place, or if he was testing it at too high of a PSI. He says he leak tested at 25psi.

The other came back and said he tested the DV+ and it wasn't leaking, but swapped to the TS product anyway. He's the one who said it felt more responsive.

Yeah. The Kies guys mentioned they thought it felt better than DV+ towards the end of their video.

Like you guys I wouldnít rip out a DV+ to put this in, but as an initial purchase just trying to decide which way to go.

Didn't know about throttle reset BP thanks I'll give it a go. Trying to decide if worth getting DV+ installed when I do FBO later, seems stock unit is sturdy enough physically.

Is there any boost overrun per se with the DV+ like an unnatural tendency for car to keep surging forward after hard boost even though throttle has been let off?

For some reason I imagine this to be the case?!

Oem may well be sturdy to begin with but the critical oem rubber diaphragm will get weaker with age/cycles etc so DV performance will degrade.

If paying for FBO then adding any DV upgrade is worthwhile IMHO esp as install is way easier whilst you are installing cooler, boost pipes and inlet pipe upgrades.

As said above the decision is GFB DV+ at ~ £100 or TS PnP at ~£200.

My GFB DV+'d car's throttle response is fine or no surging etc on part pedal or overrun

Just got some great pricing from Mike at XPH on the Turbosmart and Pure inlet pipe.

Will let everyone know how it feels once it’s on!
