@BimmerCode
Could you perhaps code the cluster lights not to turn orange for the bottom portion? Even better, change cluster lights not be orange on the top as well? Also for the car to start in sport mode? Thank you. |

Brake Force Display Mode - What is that exactly? Disable Windows Up Safety Feature? Rear Fogs Enabled? - Do we have fog lights in the rear? When you coded some of these, did you code them one at a time or a combination at a time? Thanks for your feedback.

BFD is a feature that lights up your rear fog lights when you brake very hard and ABS is activated. You can change this from an illumination of the rear fog lights to flashing which is what I did. You can also change how many times a second it flashes (3 or 5) and you can even change it to the european style which flashes the brake lights instead of the rear fogs.
http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1450410 Normally when your doors are open the automatic window up pull won't work. You'll have to hold the button to roll up the window. This fixes that. Yes. http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1450178 You can only code combinations within the same module. If one thing you want to code is in the Front Electronic Module and another thing is in the Rear, they have to be coded separately. |

If you connect to the car you'll see you can't toggle ASD on/off. It has to be restored from a backup. |

Anytime you make any sort of coding change a backup will automatically be made. Expert mode doesn't have it's own backups separate from easy mode. It's all consolidated.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwv...hKSWdRTDg/edit Keep in mind you won't be able to access every part of the ecu on the bimmercode app. Some coding will require you to use ESYS because bimmercode simply can't access every part of the car at this time. Most of what's on the cheat sheet can be done in easy mode so it's pretty pointless in my opinion. I think the only thing I wasn't able to do in easy mode so far was the voltage changes for the LCI tail light retro fit i did. You really won't be using expert mode often, if ever. Bimmercode has pretty much put everything you can do to the car in easy mode. But...If you wanna try something fun in expert mode just for shits and giggles give this a shot: http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1432540 |

Doesn't sound like I want to mess with it just yet then haha.. What I was interested in was I read something about the electric seat sliding back when you unlock the car so you can get in without scuffing it up? Then start the car and it goes back to saved position? I couldn't see that one thing in easy mode - did I miss it? Or it isn't available for the M2? |

Pretty sure you can do video in motion via USB as well. Haven't tried it myself though as I don't watch movies while I drive lol.

One thing when you coded with the app, it should have asked you to do something in the I-drive at the end of the code. Did you perform it? I miss understood it the first time I tried and the coding failed

The seal on the BMW cabin is very tight...pretty much air tight. When you close the door with the window cracked a bit, it prevents the pressure wave that pops your ears. Plus, BMW likes to use frameless windows...relieving that air pressure when the door closes also keeps the window from being stressed and bow out, which can cause a less than perfect seal against the weatherstripping. BTW...for those of you new to frameless windows...NEVER close the door from the window. It puts a large amount of stress on the window and can crack it eventually. |

Just a point of interest: I used the Bimmercode app on my iPhone 7 with the vGate iCar Pro Dual Bluetooth 4.0 and it worked flawlessly.
Goodbye annoying legal disclaimer, hello folding mirrors, RR tones, radio off and more... Pretty cool |
