Two people I know grabbed M3 CSs this month for about $780 a month with $2-3k down, not a bad deal at all for a car with the MSRP of the M3 CS. The formula for making these CS models is pretty great, I struggle to imagine a more excellent fun-car than a manual M2 CS, but let’s hope the pricing, lease rates, etc. are more realistic this time so the cars sell well and we continue getting cars like this in the future. I agree with the guy above to suspects this particular video is just a car-spotter who is respecting the BMW employee while trying to capture some nice footage for us interested fans. |

You can't put the M3/M4 CS in the same category as the M2 CS. BMW already had oversaturated the market with M4s and ZHP by the time the GTS and CS hit the sales floor. There was so many M4 already sold, the demand was just not there, as everyone that wanted one had it already. They are the most common M vehicle out. I live in congested NYC where I see various different make of vehicles, yet I never encounter an M2 in the wild but spot an M4 every time I open my eyes. The M2 is more a niche product and has a certain loyal cult that favor function over form, which pays off when it comes to securing an emotional sale. As a result, every M2 CS produced will be accounted for, as they did with the 1M before and probably be etched in history as a national treasure. |

Say it's a lease at $780 a month at 36 is 28k. That means on a 80k + CS, not even factoring in sales tax, they estimated the residual to be over 65%? : Seeing is believing, prove us wrong.. |

Perhaps there are some desperate dealers out there that don't usually have and can't move these last few CS models...

No need for even wider rear fenders: the M2 CS gets 19" 763M wheels front & rear.
M3/M4 CS got 19" 763M wheels front and 20" 763M wheels rear.

What tire widths do you think that will translate to being stuffable under the M2CS? I plan to order a different color of the 763M. Can different offsets be ordered with factory wheels?

I think F80 guys are running 295s easily on their 763Ms (I have them on my 666Ms) but I believe the F87 is a little tighter back there. But I recall seeing 285s without rubbing issues on some members' M2C.

Would be interesting to to see if dealership would give a credit for both factory wheels and tires so I could get wider tires on the new wheels right from the start. Going to have to wheel and deal 😂

Up here in Canada, I tried that (and it was something simpler, which was to get them to deliver my car with silver 437Ms instead of the silver/black ones), and they politely declined.

Got to love the grossly overexaggeration of people on the internet. I'll gladly eat my words if he can provide me a copy of the lease contract of the claim. $780/month with 2-3k down for ANY CS...seems realistic. $9300 in trunk money, plus give away discount and rebates....a nice savings for sure off sticker but not $780/month savings even from a desperate dealer. |

They said they would order the gold wheels for me, swap them on arrival, and then give me credit for the black ones to make it only the cost of the difference if there is any. This is just talk though, and won't know until order time. It's probably just dependent on if the dealership is willing to carry the overhead of the wheels.

I'm not surprise the rear wheels didn't grow in size for the CS; they just going to have use more efficient tires within the 265s sizing.. |
