Interesting turn of events for M2 buyers. A little pricey but hell...'ya can't take it with you and if that's what a customer will (and can afford to) pay, then so be it. But I agree with the few who questioned the choice of an otherwise standard M colour. Go big or go home lol! That Speed Yellow pic...

People pay for what they want. It's the same reason people pay above sticker for sought after cars. It's all lunacy, but there's a market for it. It's not about performance, it's about having something that very few people have, and if that means an Austin Yellow M2, then so be it. People spend thousands upon thousands modifying a car that they just spent +/- $75,000 on, and a lot of the time those modifications really have nothing to do with performance.
