HPFP Q&A

Hey everyone,

I have a few questions on upgrading the HPFP on our N55.

- Are there any gains when paired with the stock turbo?
- Which HPFP is the beat one for our engines?

Thanks!

No appreciable gains with the stock turbo if you stick with 93. Gotta run E30-50 or race gas with the HPFP to get gains on the stock turbo.

Ok thanks. How easy is it to find and use those other types of fuels above 93?

Thank you! Just a few last questions, if I go E85, do you usually fill up the tank? Also is the octane booster any good when you add it to 93 fuel? Have you used the booster before?

In general you need at least E30 in the tank for any of the OTS ethanol tunes. Altho, most of us have shown E40-E50 works best on the Stg 2+ maps, so I just put half 93/half E85 in the tank.

You can run the Race Gas OTS maps if you add enough Boostane, you just need to review logs to make sure you have enough to go with your base fuel. Octane booster will leave an orange residue in/on your exhaust, but doesn't seem to have major negative long term impacts.
