Odd Rotor Lines

Did a track event for the first time the other weekend. Switched the pads over to Hawk DTC-60's, then switched back to stock pads after the drive home (the dtc's had left a nice sheen on the rotor from scraping away the existing pad residue during the drive back). Noticed after driving around I now have about a half inch line on each front rotor. Seeing the surface rust on this line suggests the oem pads are now not making contact in that spot? Not sure what would be causing that other than the track pads were not even when new and wore down that specific section.

Any ideas? Doesn't seem to effect the stopping power of the brakes.
