World record dealer price for 2017 M2..$105,435

Unobtanium
....
At least that is what the ad says ... Does anybody know what it means?

This is the studio city BMW to the stars...Century West BMW

They currently have 4 m2's in stock...a white 2017 for the reduced price of $104,375...along with $105,435 LLB... A LLB 2016 for the reduced price $86,675 and a white with strips for the same price..

They add about 10k of carbon fiber parts...but heck this is Hollywood money so who cares...

My question to the forum members is "are these guys for real"...has any fourm member purchased a M2 from these guys?... What did they charge you?

This is for real just go to their current M2 inventory .

PS how much do you think they are charging 2016 BMW GTS m4 or as they call it the "mighty" M4...how about $209,200.00... How's that for Hollywood!

On the second floor. I called them when I was looking they wanted 10k preimum just to order it as long as I bought additional options ... Whatever that means

Anyone can ask any price for a car, the question is what they will sold for. Doubt any M2 will get that kind of money. They are probably the only dealer in the country with 4 M2s in stock for a reason.

These guys are a joke. They are very very small volume, I attempted to buy an M3 from them about this time last year. They wanted full MSRP for what they had on the lot, because the car was a manual. They had a ton of I8's relative to the rest of their inventory sitting. Century West is second worst for M cars, only to Rusnak in Thousand Oaks.

That's about the price we pay for a loaded M2 overhere anyway...

Rusnak has the largest or one largest selections of M2's currently with 5 available at the "special Rusnak" price.
They have 5 2017 M2"s in stock currently....not at msrp however...and there pricing is interesting....their e-price is as follows:.

1-The have a Black Sapphire with DCT,Apple and Exec Msrp is $59,770 and there bargain internet price is 67,270 which is $7500 over Msrp.

2- They have a LBB with Dct,apple, exec,Msrp $60,715 and special $68,215 just for you which is $7500 over

3- They have Grey with Dct, exec Bmw says $58,395...they say
$65,895 and you can walk out the door with it on the internet. Which again is $7500 over. That is 9 2017 brand new for sale M'2s within 50 miles of each other.

4- not to be outdone, here is a loaded white with a Msrp of $67980 with a price of $75,480...same overage

5- another LLB $59,770 with a price of $67,270.

While century has a even split on Dct/M with 2/2 Rusnak seems to order cars with DCT, Exc, apple every option to increase msrp and they have 5 DCT's.

So the idea is to horde them. That is 9 brand new 2017 M2's within 50 miles of each other..create an even greater demand to command $7500 over sticker and up to $45,000 over..I am wondering if any forum member has bought a M2 from Rusnak? and was it at the "special" price they are offering?

What is the point of hoarding them if they are sitting there unsold and Rusnak is paying for them each month?

I'll just throw my two cents in here. Those dealerships are hurting not only themselves by holding onto all these M2's (since they will sit a long time and no one will buy them) but they are also hurting people like me. People who live in the area, are lifetime BMW owners, who want to buy an M2 locally and have the money to do so. But I can't. I won't pay over MSRP for a car, and wouldn't even if I had millions in the bank. So I wait. I wait while the car that I want, that I can write a check for right now, sits aging in a dealership showroom a few miles from my house. That is all the complaining I am going to do for the entire day.

I wonder if anyone has considered just going there and writing out a check at MSRP and pushing it across the desk to them?

Make that 11 M'2s in less 50 miles, it turns out the sister BMW dealership in LA owned by the same people called New Century BMW and it is also located in LA area,

They have two M'2s

2016 LLB Man and exec package with a Msrp of $58,760 and they will sell it to you at the "bargain" price of $68,760 with a $10,000 markup.

2017 White DC and Exec but the internet ad only says one price...unlike the other one at $61,460 without a msrp...how much you wanna bet when you call them it is gonna change!

That is 11 M'2's just waiting ......being taken out of the market place..FOR WHAT?

With most BMW dealers not marking up on the M2, it does seem odd. I can't see how they'd have insider info on the value of these cars rising that much, and of course it reinforces the idea that MY18 won't be special. BMW's current production rate is over 2000/yr just for the USA. Anyone in USA that really wanted to buy one when they were introduced would have one by middle of next year at MSRP.

I think 5 years from now people are gonna say the M2 sticker price was amazing..BMW's are getting more expensive and with warranty downgrades etc.....2018 look for more warranty downgrades and increased sticker price

Why not just order the car from another dealer out of state and have it shipped to you?

I've been trying to figure this out as well. In November of 2015 when most dealerships had maybe 1-2 M3's on the lot, Rusnak had 9-11 at a time. Even today, having 11 M3's on the lot ready for sale is odd. They were all ordered by the same sales manager and ordered with the exact same options. They never loaded the M3s up too much, but put the right options on there. They were not willing to move from their prices which were basically MSRP - Factory Incentives. They would call a few weeks later to say they are willing to accept my original offer, but they adjusted numbers significantly on the back end once I got there. This adjustment resulted in a higher price than the original. I've visited several dealerships since I've lived in SoCal (3 BMWs in my 4 years here), Rusnak is the grimiest of them all.

People forget dealerships hide the ball... it's the bottom line final price that counts... motivation for keeping the cars is to maximum the profits of the dealership.. Orr hopping to maximize the sucker that walks in the door.. we here on the form are more sophisticated that the average buyer....you would think keeping the customer happy would pay off bigger in the long run by the customer returning to service the car.. where the real profit center should be... any form member ever work for centuary or rusnak? Know the inside story?

They don't care about enthusiasts as much as they care about their bottom line. Nothing personal, but the whole "we care about customers and driving passion" concept is a fantasy.
