Should also add you don't need your car

It's nice since saves you from the wear and tear.

What will happen with 2017 July production models? Will they have the hardware and be able to update the software later?

That's correct. You can add the option now for $300 and when it is available you'll be able to update it.

My bad for the questions. I think my dealer said the option isn't available until August. So it was removed from my order.

Are you suggesting there is a way we can place the order for July production now with BMW and once August rolls around i can update the software?

Your dealer may be correct. The fine print on the price list indicates SOP (Start of Production) for August so I'm not sure if it can be ordered now.

Confirmed, he cannot add to my order. He did say If the option to upgrade the software becomes available then i can do so because my car will have the hardware.

You better check with your dealer again. They may be able to allow you to order it now.
