ED July allocations?

Just got notice that I received a July allocation for an August build date. My SA has me on the production list but is unable to ascertain or place it for euro delivery right now. Does anyone have any information on ED ordering in this cycle?

What number on the wait list were you at your dealer?

Was told Aug/Sept delivery but am loosing faith since not a single allocation has been given anywhere. I did finally got to see one at Stevens Creek BMW (bay area) in LBB and man does it look mean! Let's hope for some news today

He is the only one. My dealer confirmed 1 allocation for the US. I am getting ready to look at other cars now.

ED - September 2017

OK, so a bit early, but for a MY 2018, I put down a deposit last week with my dealership: European Delivery in September 2017. He was not sure as to the dealership's plan to allow ED for that timeframe, but when it comes time to order it, we shall see.
My MY2010 135i has about 103,000 miles on it and is still running strong; regular maintenance and preventative care...and PDL.

You may be aware that both the dealer and BMW AG need to agree to European Delivery. Many dealers, including the one closest to where I live, do not choose to agree as their profit is impacted. Just a thought.

jumped gun?

I may have jumped the gun. Based on further discussions, to be precise my order was accepted and I have a build week in August but I don't have an order number yet. What stage am I at, who knows?

Garage List
If you have a build week you have an allocation. Production order number should be right around the corner.

Unless your dealer is BMW Minnetoka or your dealer is trading a car with them, I don't think your dealer is telling you the truth. If they really did have an allocation for you, they could give you a production number - now.

A quick check again today shows only one 2017 out there and that has been there for a while.

It would really stink if that were the case. Hopefully there is some explanation.
I will keep my fingers crossed.

As of right now, it looks like there's only 1 MY17 allocation in the entire US - so either that's you, or you're getting some bad info.

In California here, my dealer just received 1 allocation for Q3. I was #2 on the waiting list, now I'm #1.
