So MSRP hasn't changed. 10/10, would buy again.

Surprised to see this omitted as well, especially given the M3, M4 and Canadian M2s all show 5.0 included.

So am I reading correctly that the M Drivers Package is included as standard now for the US? Or is it still the same story as 2016 which is that it's unavailable completely to US customers. It's a little confusing that it's listed under the standard heading.

Yeah, the post makes it look like the executive pack is standard. I'm sure it's not but that would make the car with the package cheaper!

I think its just poorly written. It's a new standard feature to the exec pack.

Apparently all two series have iDrive 5.0 so I think we should expect that in the M2

Any change in executive package pricing?

How much will the M Drivers package cost?

DCT pricing still the same?

From reading the larger post it seems clear that M drivers package is not available for the M2 in the US. It's the exception to the M rule. So, only change for 2017 is WIFI and wireless charging, plus likely iDrive 5.0 but strange that it's not specifically mentioned like it is for the M3/M4.

Likelihood of them releasing the 2017 M2 without 5.0 in the US and letting every other car and country have it seems pretty low though.

I agree - it seems counterproductive to put 5.0 in ever other model except this one.

Looks like 2 series are getting PDC with surround, is this also omitted for the M2?

Just verified with BMW Genius that BMW did not make a mistake in excluding it, and iDrive 5.0 WON'T be coming for MY17 M2.

Wow...if this holds true, very very shocking. Great for those who get MY16. Basically no advantage to MY17 unless the M drivers package is actually available.

He said the reason was that the M2 is built separately and they already have the older iDrive equipment pre-made for it. He also said that MY18 M2 would definitely have it, no question.

Getting into speculation, he added that they technically could change the iDrive 5.0 sometime during mid MY17 production, so maybe we can't rule out the possibility for a change next year sometime.

One more thing: I was talking face to face with this gentleman, and I asked him TWICE if he was SURE and he said YES both times.

Doesn't jive with the Canadian bulletin. I drive 5 is a listed change in the documentation.

Well we know the M2 is getting CarPlay at least as an option so not a huge deal for me since I'll be using that for most everything.

Good to know, maybe he was wrong? I don't know who else to ask for an authoritative answer.
