So you need a 2yr membership to get the rebate? How can you be a member for 365 continuous days and still get the discount if say you buy the car on day 366? Is there a way to pay monthly?

Also, the rebate is not available if you are buying with a fleet discount. I applied for it after getting my fleet discount of $1500. It is clearly stated on the BMWCCA discount application that they wouldn't give both. I tried anyway hoping they might not notice. Well they sent me a message saying that they couldn't issue the discount because of it.

To play it safe you can sign up for a two year, I think you save a few bucks doing this instead of renewing before it expires. Technically as long as you renew before the one year is up you qualify. You essentially need to be a member for 366 days though, and that means being a member for a minimum of two years.

USAA has a great discount ($1,000) so if you can join USAA that's a great reason to do so. Also their insurance products are pretty solid overall.

I signed up this year and hope they might remove the exclusion on the M2 for next year, that would compensate a bit for the $2000CAD MSRP increase. That also assumes that the eligibility date is for 1 year membership by delivery date rather than deposit/first contract signing. |

If you bought the car in Canada and are submitting the rebate to BMW Clubs Canada, then no, they do clearly state on the website that the M2 and M4 GTS are currently excluded from the discount.
