I talked to three dealers today that had openings

Most dealers are getting the DCT which sucks for me:
One dealer is taking a 5k Markup and I asked if I can lower that to 2K since I was going to spend 2K on flights and transportation to ship the car nationwide.

Another dealer was saying their markup was based on the local **** and it could reach 25K ....WTF.

Another is still getting back to me.

Tell them to keep the car. No reason to pay above MSRP.

I have no idea what other dealers will accept, I do know that I am locked in at MSRP with no BS dealer cost or premiums with my dealer.

I will end up paying MSRP because I will be getting a car this year with whatever USAA rebate is applicable. If I lease it will be 500 if I purchase I suspect it will be 1k. I think we are a good year or so away from many cars being sold below MSRP. Not sure where guys are going to get cars for invoice, perhaps they are planning on waiting a while.

You won't need to add any of those things, or delete the sun roof either. They all come standard, and there is no sun roof option in any event.

I have been considering this car as a swap from my F80 M3. I recently got a 4runner and wanted more of a weekend car. Surprisingly I sat in an m235i over the weekend and I was very comfortable at 6'7". Much like an e46. Infact I felt like when I used to sit it one.

So I have the chance to jump into the #2 allocation due to someone backing out at $1000 under MSRP. Gotta decide soon tho.

I won't buy one till it's somewhere between invoice and MSRP and I don't really care what point in time that happens.

Who are the 11 people thinking they are paying invoice? Not a chance in '16.

Garage List
Talked to my CA and his manager. US MSRP if I want it around April (HEA) or ED MSRP if I'll have it delivered when I go to Europe in Sept or January.
