All I was told (now after 5 weeks) is that there is significant damage from off loading the vehicle. Was first told it was software update and exhaust mods for US market. After a few weeks I knew it was BS. Got some good info from fellow members and heard other similar stories.

I mean you can easily negotiate 5% off. Just buy 20 other vehicles from them.

It's unlikely they don't know they could get thousands more for the vehicle from someone else without having to wait long. It's also I unlikely your charm and negotiating skills are so good that you convinced them that they couldn't sell the car for thousands more with almost no time and effort. It's much more likely they want to keep you happy because they'll make up the money by doing more business with you in the future based on your car buying habits. |

It's not my skills and I don't argue for last dollar, but so many of you expect this car to go at or over MSRP which is just not the case here in NY |

Yes they tried to play games, inflate finance rate and claim they only could get automatic not 6MT all to get a few hundred more on the deal. M2 is hot here in New England but we're 3 seasons, southern Cal or Florida I'm sure 3xs more requests |

People in CA market can buy the car and drive it as soon as they get it.
People in markets with inclement weather have more wiggle room because the dealers, especially if they are higher volume dealers, are "losing" money (i.e. potential earnings) if they have cars sitting on the lot waiting for the right buyer. And shopping around dealing with far away dealers can involve extra paperwork, time and effort to obtain/transport the car, indifferent/rude dealers who know they'll never see your face again, etc. There's a price to be paid that is not just MSRP. |

I got 2.89% after just a bit of back and forth, and as far as I could tell, 2.89% was not advertised where I am. |

Now that they're in the wrong, you got the dealer by the balls.. You just have to know how to finesses now.. (no homo). If I was you, I would push for a 2020 MY M2C |

No more 2019 allocations (but there are some around that they are trying to swap with) I can get a 2020 allocation Having them by the balls is not actually true as there are no damages or torts here that they are exposed to, other than their reputation |

I am sorry your M2C was damaged in port. The same thing happened to our 2010 Z4 after we did ED and safely navigated Europe for almost 2,000 miles. It was heartbreaking. That OLD and LONG story is somewhere in Bimmerpost. Short version, we received a new car - I hope you receive a M2C allocation ASAP and best of luck.
