M2 Brazil Price and Availability

The article is in portuguese, but says the M2 will launch in Brazil this year and will be limited to 50 units - official numbers from BMW Brasil.

The car has a starting MSRP of R$ 379,950 ($109,200 USD

). There will be no options - the car comes fully loaded and is DCT-only, the 6MT will not be available.

Not surprising. Brazil is known for extremely high import taxes. Anything not manufactured in Brazil usually costs double what it does elsewhere.

Yep, 'tis the sad truth about my home country.

Don't think we've seen any potential M2 Brazilian customers around, and TBH, those 50 allocations are likely already spoken for.
