PS4S in the rear and PSS in the front

I've got the staggered PSS setup on my M2C. My rears are worn to 4/32 but my fronts are closer to 7 or 8 /32. I plan on replacing the rears now and the fronts in a few months. Thinking of replacing with PS4S.

Any problem with running PS4S in back and PSS in front? Any negative effects at autocross or the track?

I suppose when pushing on or in the wet especially you'd have a fair bit more grip at the back with PS4S than if you had MPSS on the back.

Any problems would therefore ensue from that in theory!

In any sort of spirited driving, the handling might be less predictable than if all the tyres are composed of the same compounds with the same construction as the PS4S and the PSS wear out at different rate.

Given that you are going to replace the PSS in a few months I wouldn't even bother to leave them on at all. Just replace all.

I have found the grip of the PSS deteriorates quite a bit once it starts wearing down before halfway.

Hey i actually did this set up when my rears wore out. you do feel a lot more grip in the back so it will be a lot harder to get the rear loose. Another issue i felt was in the rain, it did like to understeer just a bit.
