Fabspeed or Remus sport Cat Downpipe

Hello everyone,

With sales going on I'm considering get one of the two above. The Remus is slightly cheaper but wondering if anyone has one of these with the M performance exhaust. Curious what their thoughts are and currently leaning towards fabspeed but I know Remus is great quality too!

They both use the same 200 cpi HJS core and both guarantee no CEL. I would get whichever you can attain for a lower price

Between the 2 brands, I would go with Fabspeed. It's more proven.

Also consider the Active Autowerke option, it's half the price with a no CEL guarantee

I have the Fabspeed 200 Cel sportcat and the bypass exhaust. Love it. This video was right after installation...I have since gone with a stage 2 tune, new charge pipe and intercooler as well, but they were not necessary with the fabspeed sport cat. I never got a CEL.

I disagree with this advice, only because with a lower price often comes delays, frustration, and near zero communication from the vendor. It's up to you if that's worth paying $20 less for a part you may or may not get

LOL what? are you seriously making such a generic blanket statement?

This isn't exactly comparing a generic part from Aliexpress versus an long established company

I've had this exact problem with the part(s) in question and vendors on this forum.

I Agree, While our price point may be higher. We make up for it in quality and performance. Not to mention our lifetime guarantee.

You should have mentioned with specificity then. Otherwise your original statement at face value was just too much of a generic blanket statement.

My purpose was more to caution the OP against bargain shopping, than 'call out' anyone specifically.
