Quarantine almost completely screwed my brakes

'17 M2 DCT is always parked in a parking ramp at my apartment. Went to stay with my folks' for about six weeks (left the M2 behind, took wife's car) and when I returned, decided to go for a much awaited drive.

THE FREAKING CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. I've experienced a little bit of pad stickage after rain/snow. But this was something else. I had to depress the pedal almost half way before the pads just STARTED to get undone. Two more pumps of the gas pedal and the brakes made an awful noise while getting unstuck.

Finally managed to go for a drive and braked all the rust off...One of the scariest experiences I've had because I've treated this thing like a baby. Did not expect the pads to get stuck that badly.

Has anyone else had similar experiences??

Did you wash it and park it, or is it just that humid there?

I did get it washed but usually after a wash I try to get most water off with some hard braking. I guess having it sit 6 weeks was just too much and within those six weeks it did rain and snow a little.

Mine didn't stick, but they made a god-awful amount of noise moving off the drive for the first time in nearly 2 months last weekend, and then made loud grumbling noises every time I braked for several miles after the first application.
