Is this a temporary thing or permanent? Is there a reason why for this? It really going to suck A$$ if it's really the truth, because it's one of the things on my to-do list :

as of now it's permanent. I would imagine it has a lot to do with the current market conditions as well as the safety issues etc.. must make more sense to just shut it down.

Audi pulled the plug on their Euro Delivery two or three years ago also. Sad to see the trend continue with BMW. I had dealt with clients that went with BMW simply due to the Euro Delivery experience.

Wow, this really sucks. I'm so glad I got to experience European Delivery, even if it was almost a decade ago, it truly was a memorable experience.

Damn, but I have had the opportunity numerous times in the past and never took advantage of it so I only have myself to blame.

Damn, that blows. I'm really glad I got to do it once in 2017. But it makes me super sad that I won't be able to do it again.

Wow this is really really dissapointing. I've been working towards this goal for a new M2C in 2021 for ED since 2016.
Guess I can now just buy a slightly used one and roadtrip it home. Not quite the same...

This is so disappointing. The M2C is my first BMW and after my wife and I had such a great experience with the ED program, we decided we'd make every effort to put BMW at the top of our list for buying new car. I stated this in every survey I filled out about my purchase.
Such a bummer though! I was even trying to figure out if I could justify a new car next summer for so I could also compete in the WEMBO 24 hour solo mountain bike race in the Czech Republic. I guess I can cross that off the list. |

So glad we took delivery when we did. Literally the last week before winter tire requirements and before a COVID world. Such a shame to see a great program end.

This is terrible news. My ED in 2018 was among the best experiences of my life. I still have all of the vignettes on my car just for the memories.
My wife and I were really looking forward to doing it again a few years down the road. Here's to hoping it will come back someday.

I'm so thankful for the forums. Just texted my dealer to place M2 order. I would've been devastated if I missed the deadline. My current M2 just passed it's 4yr warranty date so this will be perfect timing. Time to book flights

I think Porsche may have followed suit in ditching European Delivery - they revealed the new Targa online today, and apparently the pricing has gone up for all models (I suspect it's model year 2021) AND I no longer see European Delivery options on the Porsche USA configurator (no Leipzig, no Zuffenhausen)!
