Reminds me of two separate incidents back in 2003 with my E46 M3.

Was merging from 55 onto 405S and two chicks in a mustang were looking over and my friend and I in my car. As i merged onto the onramp of 405, they continued straight on 55 but were looking at us instead of the road ahead. They rear ended a car in slow traffic really hard. Must have been traveling at least 50MPH.

Second time i was on 73N merging onto 405N and a guy in an old E36 was following me to get a better look at the car and lost control for some reason as the ramp curved. He literally drove off and flipped his car into the ditch.

Both crashes were nasty. People need to really pay attention to their driving instead of looking at other cars on the road. Don't even wanna talk about stupid people trying to race...

The closest I've ever been to stacking any of my rides on multiple occasions has been for:

1. Good looking girls on the side of the road

2. Badass cars going down the road

Haha! not at all. But back then, a sophomore in University with a brand new E46 M3 and those shiny OEM 19'' wheels... I spent a lot of time on the road. Mostly cause i was so in love with the car. But also cause my Cal State campus was 35 miles away from my house in OC. Southern Cali car culture is different to anywhere else I've ever lived. People appreciate cars. Especially when they are as well kept as mine was back then.

Nope, this city's infrastructure is a dump. Been here since 2004 unfortunately. Hope to make it back across the pond someday.

I have a few race stories over the years, some not so smart in the past, but none so far in the M2C. The most recent one was in the M550i.

I was about an hour from home driving in a 4 lane industrial area with a 50 mph speed limit. Every mile or so is a traffic light. A Ford diesel pickup passes me probably going 15-20 over and we end up side by side at a light. He leaves in a cloud of smoke. I easily keep up until the speed limit or so. He leaves me but we end up at the next light together. This time I punch it and pull thru 70mph in 2nd, up shift and am well ahead. I see the light turn yellow about 100-150 yards ahead and coast towards stopping. Just then the Ford diesel blasts thru a red light going about 80 in a 50. Crazy what some folks will do, but he probably couldn't have stopped from that speed.

Well, that makes a little more sense to me..

The first time I saw a E46 M3, driven by AJ Soprano, I was awed by it also.. So I kind of get the attention and appeal..

Seriously, I have yet to see another M2C in the wild. Crossed a few OG M2s before I had my M2C but nothing since.

Got a nice thumbs up for a dude in a work truck yesterday. No racers yet.

AMG GUY

I was on my way back to the office from lunch and was camped in the fast lane doing about 65 mph (nobody in front and only one car far behind in the right lane), I happened to be deep into a podcast and hadn't been really paying attention when an S65 AMG merges onto the freeway doing about 90 mph. I was ahead of him still doing 65 when he cut all three lanes shooting some big ass rocks at my windshield (luckily I work in the glass industry). At this point, the irritation begins to set in... When all of a sudden the car that had been 'far behind in the right lane' was now cutting me off to get behind the Merc that I was hot on. I noticed the car seemed to really resemble a Washington State Patrol undercover Dodge Charger when the lights flashed right before my eyes and pulled over the S65.

His office happens to be next door to mine so I thought I'd share a picture of the car.

The lack of braking power and the torque those trucks put down has caused me to blast a red or two in my work truck.

It weighs like 4 tons has 700lb/f sits on 35's and the brakes are like half the m2🤦🏼

It's an actual wrecking ball

I've been getting thumbs up from dudes in 911's, Vanquish's, M3/4's, and non-M owners.

One guy in a Hellcat did flip me off though, for no reason.

I still remember when i first saw the concept back in 2000 i believe. It was in that incredible grey color. It had the 18'' wheels and i instantly fell in love. Never expected to have one though.

Two an a half years later, it became the first sports car i ever owned. Kept the car for almost 6.5 years. Really miss those days...

Yeah, the haters are the worst. Lately I've been getting comments from the jealous haters. I think everyone is on edge these days.

That's pretty wack,

It's not like you think you're better than anyone else..

Just faster, cooler looking, and more financially capable😂

When people openly act that way it's almost like they're demanding you to think you're better than them.

Because obviously they're feeling inferior in some way if they're lashing out like that

Successful people are happy for other successful people in my experience

While those destine for failure can't stand anyone achieving/living their dreams
