Decided To Not Do PCD

I was scheduled for Performance Center Delivery in a few weeks and talked it through with a delivery manager there yesterday. We mutually agreed it would be best to not do the experience at this time. Travel there and back is sketchy dealing with airports, hotels, and restaurants in their current state. The museum and plant tours are closed. There is talk of the local hotels closing. It wouldn't be the experience I would want. My car was still at the port, so they are going to ship it to my dealer instead.

They are also going to let me reschedule the PCD experience at a later time so I can do everything I would have done, minus taking delivery of my actual car. I'm disappointed, but it feels like the responsible thing to do with the state of things right now. On the plus side, I should get my car next week instead of April, so that softens the blow somewhat.

I've had to take a belated PCD before. Don't worry, they will take care of you.

Couldn't hurt to ask for upgrade to the 1 day Performance Driving school (Not the M school).
It's just a bit more advanced than PDC with twice the driving.

Then you could stay an extra day, tour the museum & factory on your own.
