The M3 CS wheels should fit fine. They have the same offset and width as the 763M. One would just need to use the proper size 20" tire in the rear (i.e. 265/30-20 or 275/30-20) to get the same diameter as the stock rears.

I received a set of 763m wheels in frozen gold as a Christmas present. Mounted Firestone Firehawks in 255 front & 275 rear. No issues at all with anything. Great fit. Also includes new TPMS & ceramic coated by a local pro with Quartz’s latest greatest stuff. They currently have less than 600 miles. I just don’t like the frozen gold.

I am considering doing a color change, but before I decide that I thought I’d see if there’s any interest here on the forum. The wheels were $3500. TPMS @ $77 ea. The tires I believe were ~ $1k. I had the local Porsche dealership mount and balance (they have the latest greatest machine) the Ceramic coating was $200. So..here is my break down. Including the ceramic coating, I have ~ $5158 ( all in including mounting & balancing) in this set up. Yes, they are used, but they are perfect!
I’d sell for $4100$4100 for everything! & even meet you within a couple hundred miles of Knoxville TN, IF it’s a done deal.

I went with the Firestone’s because of there great reviews as a dry high performance tire. They are equal to the OEM tires in every test except for wet weather. My M2 is a fun car, not a daily driver so the trade off between $$ and performance seemed smart to me. They grip great, and balanced very well. Quite, and sticky!

I don’t think I’m breaking any rules here, but if so, mods feel free to delete.

Probably best to text me or email... 865-310-5403
Skeenj@att.net happy to send pics. They are currently still on car.
No fire sell here, andif I can’t get the asking price I’d be inclined to do the color change as I LOVE the wheels. Just not a fan of the gold.

So if going with 19inch rims all around you can just transfer the oem tires to the 763m rims?

Firestone firehawks? I kind of get your explanation, but still why? The money saved is not that worth it in my opinion. But if you are happy that's all that matters I guess.

How much lighter are the 763Ms compared to the 788Ms? And what's the total weight overall? I couldn't find an answer.

I immediately felt the difference; not placebo effect either...

Arguably, that's equivalent to 48-64lbs. of static weight.

Well this really helps narrow down what I'm gonna go with for AutoX wheels.

Thank you for your feedback!

I believe the M3 CS orbit grey have a different size for the rears which don't fit the M2C. Really sucks....well at least for M2 owners.
  • M3 CS and M4 CS: 19" 763M Orbit Grey front (ET29) + 20" 763M Orbit Grey rear (ET40);
  • M2 and M2 Competition: 19" 763M black or gold (ET29) front + 19" 763M black or gold (ET40) rear (M Performance Parts);
  • missing link for M2 or M2 Competition: 19" 763M Orbit Grey (ET40) rear.
AFAIK, M2 CS test mules are built with two types of 19" 763M wheels. Though Orbit Grey would definitely make sense IMHO, it looks like it's black and gold for the time being.

Soon 19" 763M wheels in Orbit Grey will be sporting my M2. Special request (delivery of black ones that got repainted Orbit Grey).

Had the opportunity to pick up a set in person from Brian at Sun Motors Car BMW today. He's a really awesome dude and I couldn't find a better deal on the frozen gold setup. Not only are they one of the cheapest to buy Mparts from but he's a really good dude too! We chatted for a good 45 minutes about all the carbon fiber he wishes he could fulfill orders for the M2c. Also talked about price for the M2c performance exhaust.. goooood price for anyone interested in buying!

Pics to come - hoarding parts because cars not even built yet week 19 build so hope to see her beginning of June!

For future reference for anyone who finds this threads like I did. I contacted Sun Motor Cars BMW as I wasn't seeing any more of the wheels on their eBay store. They said they stopped selling the bare wheels because too many were getting damaged. If you're interested they might still do the full wheel+tire package but I didn't ask.

I ran into that issue when getting mine. You can get them from https://bmwpartspros.com for about $250 more than Sun Motors was selling them. I think they're a sponsor too?
