12mm spacers all around dropped on KW HAS (set to max low 1.2" drop front and back). Sits great. Could prob do a 15mm in the back if I wanted it a bit more poke but the fronts are perfect.

would anyone know if these rims BBS LM-R rims et32 and et25 fit the m2? I would imagine them to be sitting in, would a pair of 5mm spacers front and back fix them?

Not planning on lowering the car at all, wheel and tires will also remain stock for now, but will likely go with a slightly wider tire in the future, 255/35/19 and 275/35/19
Bump, anyone w spacers on stock suspension?

Question regarding spacers. I thought they weren't recommended for driving much however, that seems to be incorrect based on the # of M2'rs that are running them. What are the negatives of using them as I can only see the positive being the look of pushing the wheel/tire more flush with the fender wells. Sorry if this seems like a noob thing.

Currently running a 12 front, 10 rear with H&R sport springs, no issues.

Don't love the fitment 100% so i'm changing to 15's this week. Hopefully that's perfectly flush with the fenders.

Hope so! I'll let everybody know what i think of the fitment once they're on.

Also, how do you like the kw has? I heard they were noisy? A bunch of people on the f80 forum didn't like them so i'm curious what you think.

(I ended up with H&R springs cause i won them in a raffle lol so it just made sense to keep them since they were free)

I like them. They are a good value for the cost of adjustability and how low you can go, but H&R is still nice. Mine aren't noisy. Can't beat free though I suppose. I d probably hold it for v3s though if you already have a set of springs, but that's just me.

Yeah when it comes time to upgrade i'll just immediately go for the M performace coils since they're v3's with a ///m badge on them:

https://www.bmwpartspros.com/partloc...catalogid=8798

500 less than the yellow and purple one's and it's an OEM part so it'll help resale value and won't fuck w/ the warranty etc.
Thanks for the share. These look solid. What is the max drop on these?

Whoops, accidentally deleted my last post.

Max drop is 25mm. They're literally identical to kw v3's only these were specifically made/tuned for the M2 by kw. It's a no brainer. Unless you're dropping big money on 'kw clubsports' or 'ohlins road and track' you should 100% get these.

You sure 25mm? That's only an inch which is less than the HAS

Sorry that's wrong.

Front = 10-40mm lowering; Rear = 5-35mm lowering is what i'm seeing on the v3's so i assume it's the same

They don't go as low as the V3 from my readings... Less than the HAS kit too.

I'm seeing conflicting information online so i don't know what's what at this point.

Bmw's website says 0-20mm

http://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/53...ANCE-COILOVERS

And then this is a post from someone who actually owns them that says 35 front, 20 rear:
