This car has a plumbers crack and the BMW badge on the hood is its tramp stamp.

hmm, there's something awkward with the rear window lines, can't quite put my finger on it.

I don't think it's bad at all. It will make a sharp m car. My disapproval comes from aerodynamics driving exterior design to the same conclusion to meet increased efficiency needs. Everything is starting to look the same. Nissan/infinity come to mind. Honda/Mazda/Lexus not far off.

I think I hate the rear and sides on the new 3/4 more than the front, honestly. Complete Japanese style....

I'm surprised they didnt share any pictures without the front plate. Many people dont need/use them, and I'm sure the front is a lot cleaner. Like Audi provides a front frame delete kit.

Also, it appears the M3 wont get these buck teeth?

You look in the rear view mirror at that thing - looks like it's saying: "best get out the way".

Agreed wholeheartedly. Not only that but I believe the car is 188 inches long which is HUGE.

They also got rid of the Hofmeister kink. Radical change in more ways than one...

I’m curious if the redesigned 2022 M2 is going to also get the big grille, although it seems that the M3 “may” not get it either (because the 3 series didn’t).
This is most likely a 4-series specific design, which is good news for those that don’t like it.

I believe the next M3 is supposed to get the big grille as well. Supposedly the next M2 grille will be smaller than the next M4.

Have you seen the X5? Big grills seems to be BMW’s newest design element.

Why is review of the 4 series leaking into the M2 subform?

The front isn't great but honestly it's not the worst part of the design to me. I don't love the large vertical grille but I think over time I could get used to it. The design really goes off the rails in the rear fender area. The crease at the top of the fender just looks out of place.

It's also 5 inches longer than the current 4 series which makes this thing huge. Wonder how much bigger the next M2 will wind up being.

5 inches longer
Whole reason I ditched my M4C was that it was TOO long
