Coding speed limit info

Is it possible to code the car for speed limit info?

I am trying to purchase a 2C and it seems no cars in stock with this option in Canada right now. If I can code it in, I'll be happy!

In the uk you have to buy an activation code, not coding job as far as I am aware

No, it's not included in all countries like in the US. Every country gets different options/configurations. Hence why big brakes are standard here but not in Europe or how you can get 437s in Canada but not the US.

Hey, does your windshield have a camera attached to it, with the word "ConnectedDrive" below, like the one the photo attached?

So yes, that's the same camera that is used for the Speed Limit information. The hardware required for the feature is there, so it seems to just be a matter of coding it in.

I'm not 100% sure how the system differs in Canada because I know it also uses speed limit data embedded in the iDrive maps but I believe you're like 2/3rds there, in getting the feature up and running.

Let me look into it and get back to you.

I have all the hardware ie Kafas camera but it still needs activation code. Went through this with the f85 which is the one I use for long trips so not doing the m2c.

As someone notated, SLI can be coded in but you need to pay for something called an FSC code.

You would have to contact a professional about coding it in, it's a little more intricate than your standard fare.

Personally, I don't believe it's worth the hassle.

I have it and it's cool to impress friends and stuff but I must of used it once or twice, in 3 years.

I'm usually traveling so fast, I already know whatever it is, it's above the arbitrary limit.
