Where is the M-performance Exhaust system from BMW?

Keep hearing they would come out in March and now it's April... so for American market when will that be available? Anyone?

I was just looking at that: https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/3...EXHAUST-SYSTEM

It appears they never even had the PE for the 2018 M2. So I doubt there will be one for the 2019s.

A few weeks ago I saw it was pushed to April. It will be released soon from everything I have read.

I have the MPE on my 2018. Sometimes they just don't update the models and years it fits.

I believe those were M3/M4 (more specifically, S55) prices?

It is a lot of money to drop for no performance gains...

For reference OG M2 cat-back exhaust systems are around $2-3k.

Sleazy bastard! Thanks for the leak Marc. Just watched your vid on the Akra. It doesn't sound bad in efficiency with the valves open. Assume you coded out your check engine light for the downpipe.
I went for the V1 wheel and full gloss carbon interior, a huge improvement. I also did full Focal drivers, a big improvement for those long autobahn runs.

OG M2 MPE is not titanium. I'm sure BMW will charge a nice premium on M2C MPE just because of that alone.

Not sure, you mentioned the $5k cost earlier? But if anything it'll probably be around the same range as the M3/M4 exhausts.

Good point. Tbh I didn't really care about titanium... The different in sound/weight wasn't really worth the few thousand more to me, but may be for others.

I'm annoyed with the constant delays and taking a long hard look at Akra and the full evolution system. Full titanium, more svelte muffler, quality fitment, and link pipe.

The MPE for my F80 is titanium. Listening to them both the MPE is deeper than the Akra.

The MPE for the M2C will be different in a few ways: Different manufacturer; it leaves the stock resonator in tact while the F80 variant removed it; and it's not completely Ti. The muffler shapes are also very different. I can't get over how the M2C variant still hangs so low.

Comparing the two Akra systems, it seems to me they made the M2C version more deeper, sounder with less rasp, while the F80 system had a higher pitch and more raspiness. The M2C system is also based on the F90 M5. The muffler section also has different shapes.

Mind you these are all over YouTube and a couple real life listens of the F80 system.
