AST top mounts, and yes that is the reason. It is just sometimes annoying because of the road surfaces here. I did not expect the difference to be this big, since I have not seen it happening that must with other cars.

I am aligning the car again on Wednesday.

550 hp on stock hardware???? Are you sure that is a good idea? You are running 700+ Nm?

I would not go beyond 500-510hp on stock hardware, and definitely not knowing what can happen with the crank hub.

404kW = 550ps and 757Nm as manual transmission

I‘ve installed this crank hub / central lock fix, it even failed at stock cars i’ve heard.. I choosed the h2m part, I thought turboperformance shop is playing tricks... see below

catless downpipes, no opf - 2x100cell cat instead, yes!

i‘m currently waiting for my endless me22(cc38) brakepads for front and rear. my brake was cooked on mountain roads, car haven’t seen a track sofar, first suspension upgrade needed..

How is the (interior) noise? I don't want a sportscar to be quiet(like it is now with the OPF), but to live with drones and excessive (interior) noise would also be a tad annoying.

The price of these exhausts is insane. I remember when a nice HQ EX manifold for a BMW inline 6 was like 2-3 grand and a whole stainless exhaust could be had for under a grand...

there is no drone. the car is only "loud" in coldstart, with valve closed it's quiet and comfortable as OEM. in sport+ (valve open) it is sporty aggressive which i like.

yes i've catless downpipes and mid pipes with other cats, i asked for hjs 100 cell, they will make a custom system for you.

i would not install the cat again i'd rather go for silencers or straight pipes instead.

if you write them an email they will respond to your needs, currently there is summer offer...

i'll try to make a video/soundfile soon..

at the moment the total turbo-back system of supersprint seems to be 1.100.- euro under the akrapovic summer offer of this onlineshop https://jamparts.com/auspuffanlagen/auto

who have bought the number of bilstein clubsport sets left? (maybe a bit off-topic)

yesterday i confirmed bilstein italy my order and they told me i need to wait until september, when the next production batch is ready... sold out at the moment :-/

Copy that around ferragosto (15th of august) everything stands still, in a way..

But the key account of Supersprint is german, fluent im english an very responsive..

bilstein italy just offerd me to open their workshop during holidays, the mechanic who installs the suspension owns an S55 M4 and is interested to see/work on the m2comp!

i was even invited to join the upcoming trackdays, so very friendly!

Good to see the topic was moved here in the forum. Not much to report my end. Just drove the car again today after having it static for about 2 weeks.

I am currently trying to find someone who wants to install a carbon fiber roof at a decent price. So far I have had offers which are in access of 6K EUR and I am like not in a 1000 years for that amount of money.

If you know anyone, let me know... Also trying to find a good price on a carbon hood (Maybe GTS one) and the carbon trunk. Not much luck yet. Max discount I got is 20%, which isn't too bad at all on M Performance parts. Just trying if I can find better pricing somewhere.

Latest update from my end! Steering unit is f*cked



I felt a really weird vibration in the car on certain roads. We initially thought it was the left strut which I installed, but my workshop guys (HEROS) found the issue today after half a day of searching.

This problem has a major impact. It can be fixed under warranty, but it brings one big issue which is that the car needs to undergo a full software update and we all know what that means... Especially me running a car without OPFs on it.

It will be an interesting experience, especially because the part above (point 1) cost 3K EUR and that is only the part not the replacement work that has to be done.

Let's wait and see. Luckily I still have my MINI. I therefore now need to find a way to make this work. Wish me luck.

Tough choice. If you buy the rack yourself and have a specialist fit it then no need to program the DME. Just the EPAS module.

But if you want it for free under warranty then BMW will for sure update the whole vehicle...

Got a solution already... Currently the carbon roof is getting installed at Alpha N. More soon... One photo for now!
