Having a lift put in the garage next Friday before the M2 comes home (old Miata doesn't want to sit outside either ) but no immediate plans beyond that other than driving her as much as I can before freezing temps and road salt arrive.

Congrats on the M2 and thanks for sharing your ED experience! Please inform your sister that she takes the most beautiful pictures and I hope your dad is all good.
I shared your post with my wife, and it brought back beautiful memories from our May ED experience. She always tells me that "it was the best trip ever". Only negative of ED, waiting for your car to come home |

Congrads on both the car and the trip... and it sure looks like you had a wonderful trip!
Props to your sister also for taking some outstanding photos. Glad you Dad is okay; the Porsche and Mercedes-Benz museums aren't going anywhere so you can get them on your next ED...I've been lucky enough to do both a number of times and while Porsche is worth a visit, the Mercedes-Benz museum is a bucket list item!

Just caught up on this.
Awesome trip ! I also went to fussen and Innsbruck as well on my ED trip. Absolutely the best way to buy a vehicle. It's also wonderful to have your OWN vehicle on such a trip and not a rental car. Great photos from sis and very neat that you got to share the experience with family. Hope your father is doing well and fully recovered. |

Great ED post. Sounds like a eventful trip - I'm glad your father recovered without surgery.

Congratulations on your new car, and looks like it was a really nice trip (other than for the medical emergency). You will be talking about the German hospital long after that new car smell has worn off, so even that experience is something you will remember.
