that frozen grey looks bl00dy good there! I have seen a few G87's in person and you really have to see them in the flesh to appreciate the blistered arches and styling. Very aggressive and muscular compared to the G82 M4

I went through cross shopping the F versus the G a few months back. The killer for me was the back seat in the G is completely unusable for any adult much over 5’ tall. Built in Mexico versus Germany another nod to the older F series. I like the looks of both designs, but the G weight close to m3/m4 sealed the deal for me wanting a F87 M2.

I've sat in a couple of G87's and have owed an F22 M235i for last 7 years, surely the G87 has more rear room than the F22/F87!?

I need to drive one..it's either an F87 Comp as a special car plus a daily like an EV or Golf sized ICE car OR a do it all car G87. Noting we have large family car already.

Sadly no, despite being larger the G87 has less room in the rear.

Any reason the f87 can't do it all? I daily drive mine with no issues.

Good to know. It sounds similar to F13 then, the F22 has more rear passenger room than the big 6er i believe.. crazy. The G87 definitely has a bigger boot though no question.

Look I know this is the M2 forum but have you looked at the X3M? Not the M40 or new Xm50 crap. I’ve look for shits and giggles and the 2020 or 2021 is the move. That is the “do it all” in my mind.

Yes had briefly considered an X3M, but we already have a big Black Edition VW Touareg 286ps SUV so wasn't looking for another high up car, but can see the appeal of them. Reviews I've read suggested the ride was overly firm. Also looked at M3s but they are big old cars and with my budget would be looking at a 2 or 3 year old one rather than an almost new M2.

Here's a side comparison of an M2 with my car .. can't understand the reduced rear from this really lol.
