Engine rattle recorded: have you heard this?
I'm talking about the rattling sound heard after letting off the gas in this recording: M2C rattling sound
Have you ever heard this? Have you found out where it comes from? It can be heard in the cabin even with the windows closed. It can't be heard right after a cold start. One needs to drive it for like 5 or 10 minutes, and then it starts to be heard consistently when accelerating and specially when letting off the gas. 2020 M2 Competition, about 40K miles. Stock. Maintenance by BMW as scheduled. |
