Are you referring to the exhaust tips?
Otherwise, the rest is under the car and not noticeable.

I had the Dinan x pipe system at first, mainly because it was available. The sound was OK, but the tips were enormous and looks terrible. The Eisenmann took months but was worth the wait.

Never even noticed it. Now that you point it out, it doesn't really bother me.
Maybe I just don't care that much about such things.

You're lucky to have that attitude as it will save you some coin...

I would rather look at that exhaust, versus looking at the front or the rear of the G87.

Looks being subjective and all that I personally would agree.

Having said that I got rid of the udder.

Best of both worlds...

It’s never bothered me either. Things that were once idiosyncratic have a way of becoming iconic over time.

I don’t normally see it day to day as I’m tall, but when I do I kind of like its quirky look.

You can see it easily when driving behind someone with a M2.

I was about to post that I've never really been into mods, but then I started thinking about my tii and 78 911 and thought better of it.

Well, if you happen to be immature and antisocial, like me, then the lack of pops and crackles is an issue. Same with the volume, it's a bit too quiet. I much prefer the exhaust of the Comp over the CS. The exhaust is the only thing I don't love about the car. Everything else about the CS feels special, the exhaust note is just too bland, it doesn't suit the vehicle.
Having said that, I understand that if someone wants a car not to be shouty, especially if you drive it more frequently, let alone as a daily, you would prefer the CS exhaust as is. For a weekend toy, however, I think it's far too understated. Hell, my SUV sounds way better.

Another one on BAT in White, so many comments about this car being the last of an era - which we can all relate to…..

I am surprised no one discussed this auction. Read the comments and see the drama from the winning bidder. There was a bid of $85K, then $92K which was the winning bid. The Winner claimed to have typed the wrong price, he said he wanted to bid $87K. BAT said they were in contact with the last two bidders. I'm not sure how it played out?

Bid to $82.5k and reserve not met. That’s an aggressive reserve at ~$87k with fees.

I’m surprised the white one with 4700 Miles didn’t fetch high enough to hit the reserve?

I guess these are not fairing so well lately…maybe because of the new G87 M2?

I really didn’t think that would be the reason tho….maybe just general economy?

I’d much rather have an F87 M2cs than a base G87 M2.

Our day will come! But, it’s not at the moment.

The M2 CS that failed to sell on BAT yesterday is listed at $89k at Smith Volvo. Lots of good photos of it as well on their site.

Personally, I think the AW with gold rims spec limited the buyer pool. Less common spec perhaps because it was less popular to begin with.

How many folks actually spec’ed their CS versus BMW building what they thought the market wanted?

Also dealer sale on BaT versus private party may have set unrealistic expectations on the reserve or not delivered the engagement bidders are looking for? And it’s at a Volvo dealership???

Maybe guy was thinking with a bid of 87 he’s basically out the door at about 92 with BaT fees…
